The RV8 is a single engine tandem two-seater, low wing homebuilt aircraft typical sold in kit form.   For those DIY folks, this aircraft is for you.  A typical RV-8 parts kit can be purchase for $25,000. Labour and shipping would be additional of course.  When you compare the prices of commercially built aircraft, these airplanes are the way to go.
